National anthem:In rich times and in times of emergency
It was established in 1966, written by Irving Burgie and composed by C. Van Roland Edwards. Until 1966, Barbados belonged to the West Indies Federation, so it used the West Indies National Anthem Forged from the Love of Liberty, but with the dismantling of the Commonwealth, this song was taken over by Trinidad and Tobago Barbados enacted this song as the national anthem.

Barbados (English: Barbados) is a constitutional monarchy located at the eastern end of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea and the West Indies. The capital is Bridgetown.
It is an island nation made entirely of coral reefs, with Saint Lucia to the northwest, St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the west, and Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago to the southwest, about 200 km across the sea.

It is the country with the most established parliamentary democracy in Latin America and the Caribbean, and is the highest in the region at 42nd place (2010) in the Human Development Index by the United Nations. The average life expectancy is 77.2 years (74.2 years for men, 79.8 years for women, 2010), which is the 43rd place in the world.
A constitutional monarchy headed by the British monarch, a country in the Commonwealth Realm, it was announced that it would transition to a republic by November 2021.
