Samoa
National Anthem: The Banner of Freedom
It was composed and written by Sauni Iiga Kuresa, and was established as the national anthem when Samoa became independent from New Zealand in 1962.
Samoa is a country consisting of the islands located in the westernmost part of the Samoa Islands in Polynesia. Many of these islands have beaches with coral reefs and rocky inland overgrown by rainforest with canyons and waterfalls. The main islands are Upolu, where most of Samoa's population lives, and Savaii, one of the largest islands in the South Pacific. Smaller islands include those with small villages and uninhabited islands, and some have wildlife reserves.
